BURNLEY PRINTERS (also Burnley Lumps)
Plain weave cotton cloths made in Burnley district in numerous qualities. Used for bleaching, dyeing and printing. Generally from 32-in. to 38-in. wide, 116 yards long. An average quality is 64 X 64 per inch, 32's warp, 34's weft.
